NON-PROFIT PROGRAM
Upon establishing our presence in Canada, we are excited to announce that our workshops and services are planned to be offered at the wonderful Nepean Visual Arts Centre, located at 1701 Woodroffe Avenue, Entrance 3, Ottawa, ON, K2G 1W2.
"Art Collaboration" is our non-profit multicultural arts initiative, strategically designed to actively align with and support the City of Ottawa's cultural and arts planning projects. Our mission is to enrich the community by fostering creative expression, cultural exchange, and direct participation in the city's vibrant arts ecosystem.
Our non-profit activities are focused on a core mission: to serve as a dynamic community partner for the City of Ottawa, amplifying participation in its rich cultural life. We achieve this through two primary pillars:
-
Community Art Navigator & Program Support: Our primary role is to act as a bridge, connecting local residents directly with the City of Ottawa's diverse arts and culture initiatives. We will actively encourage and guide community members, especially youth, to engage with the city's key public opportunities, including the:
-
Artist Studio Program
-
Community Galleries Program
-
Public Art Program
-
Young at Art
-
Community Arts + Social Engagement projects
Our hands-on support will focus on helping artists of all ages understand the application processes, prepare their submissions, and take full advantage of these fantastic programs.
-
-
Digital Platform & Community Showcase: Our vibrant online platform serves as the digital hub for our mission. We will use it to actively promote the application deadlines and showcases for the City of Ottawa programs mentioned above, and share success stories of community participation. The platform will also serve as a gallery to showcase the incredible work created by local residents in these initiatives, connecting Ottawa’s community creativity with a global audience.
The City of Ottawa Community Galleries Program is now accepting exhibition proposals from emerging and established artists, artist collectives, curators, and community arts organizations working in all media. Since 2001, Community Galleries’ programming has been strengthened through the insights, directives and support of local artists and arts organizations towards public access and exposure to the visual arts throughout the City of Ottawa. The Community Galleries Program believes that arts-based engagement is part of the positive change that promotes the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts.
The Artist Studio Program is a unique venture that assists local and regional established and emerging artists within 150 km of Ottawa to access studio space in city buildings. This studio program is intended to foster professional development in the arts and expose the public to visual art through studio visits, exhibitions, and events.

Young at Art is a professionally assessed art exhibition bringing the work of visual artists between 12 to 19 years of age to local art galleries. Each year since 1996, Young at Art recognizes the creative efforts of young artists across Ottawa. Artworks are reviewed by a committee of established arts professionals and emerging artists from the community. Common criteria guide them through a selection process resulting in a dynamic exhibition at a community gallery and on the Young at Art Instagram. Selected works are eligible for several awards.

The 2026 Young at Art application will be available online in November 2025.
The aim is to beautify and enhance the community with images that reflect and depict culture, history or visions of artistic expression in a tasteful and positive manner. The mural art shall not discriminate, or incite any other person to infringe upon any person’s human rights, race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, family status, or disability.
The City of Ottawa Public Art Program collects, commissions and exhibits artwork to create conversations and make art accessible to everyone. Art is integrated into our daily lives through the City of Ottawa Art Collection, public art commissions, and exhibitions at Karsh-Masson Gallery, City Hall Art Gallery and Corridor 45|75. One of the first of its kind in Canada, the Public Art Program has been committed to promoting and increasing awareness and appreciation of the visual arts since 1985. The Program enhances Ottawa's cultural identity by incorporating contemporary art by professional artists into city planning and development, fostering a sense of place and of who we are.
